ARTIST STATEMENT:

This collection of stickers uses a retro Japanese manga aesthetic to celebrate the artist’s memories of visiting Tokyo. From spending too much at a local arcade to mistakenly (seemingly) ordering a beer at a local diner at 7am, these stickers aim to encapsulate that feeling of bewilderment and sheer visual overload when visiting the electric city that never sleeps.

ARTIST BIO:

John Henry is an independent illustrator based in Singapore who draws much of his inspiration from the cartoons, TV shows, and video games he used to enjoy growing up. He focuses mainly on creating illustrations that are packed with energy and are often humorous.
